Service Provider Terms
The agreement for businesses listing services on Artistover: listings, packages, availability, delivery, fees and payouts.
Version 2.0 · Effective 28 July 2026
The official legal document is provided in English.
Artistover is operated by Artistover Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17285593, whose registered office is at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom.
These terms apply if you list a service on Artistover and take bookings through it. They sit alongside the Platform Terms of Use. If you list a venue, the Venue Provider Terms apply as well.
You are an independent business. Nothing in these terms creates employment, agency, partnership or a joint venture between you and Artistover.
1. Becoming a provider
To list and take bookings you need an Artistover account, a completed listing, verified identity, and payout details capable of receiving money. Some categories require licences, insurance, qualifications or safeguarding checks before the listing can go live.
You confirm that you are legally entitled to provide the services you list, in the places you list them, and that you hold everything the law requires you to hold.
2. Your listing must be accurate
Describe what you actually deliver. Your listing, packages, photographs, video, pricing, inclusions, exclusions, capacity, duration, travel radius and availability must be current and truthful.
Do not list a service you cannot deliver, present someone else work as your own, use images from events you did not work on, or imply an accreditation, award or affiliation you do not hold.
Our Listing Standards and Re-review policy sets the minimum quality bar and explains which changes send a listing back for review.
3. Categories
Choose the category that genuinely matches your work. Your primary category is fixed when you choose it for the listing, because it determines how customers find you and which requirements apply. A different category needs a new listing.
If your business changes to the point that the category is wrong, contact us rather than reworking the listing to fit.
4. Pricing, packages and quotes
You set your own prices. Prices must be complete and must include everything a customer needs to pay you for what is described, other than clearly itemised extras such as travel, add-ons or additional hours.
Do not advertise a price you do not intend to honour, hold a price open and then raise it once a customer is committed, or move mandatory costs out of the headline price to look cheaper. Any charge that is effectively unavoidable belongs in the price.
Where you build a custom quote, it must reflect the brief you were given and must state clearly what is included and how long it is valid.
5. Availability and responding
Keep your calendar accurate. If a date is shown as available, a customer is entitled to expect that you can take it.
Respond to enquiries and booking requests promptly. Repeatedly failing to respond, or declining bookings you have advertised as available, may lead to reduced visibility, a warning or removal under our Listing Standards policy.
6. Your team and other personnel
You are responsible for everyone you send to a booking, whether they are employees, contractors, deputies, agency staff or collaborators added to your listing. That includes their conduct, their competence, their right to work, and any check, licence or clearance their role requires.
If you name specific people in a listing or a quote, the customer is entitled to expect those people unless you agree a replacement in advance. A replacement must be at least equivalent in skill and must hold the same required credentials.
Anyone you send must handle customer and guest information properly, must follow the venue rules, and must not solicit business off Artistover.
7. Equipment, travel and set-up
Equipment you bring must be safe, tested where the law or the venue requires it, and suitable for the booking. Where portable appliance testing, rigging certification, or similar evidence is required, you must hold it and produce it on request.
State your travel radius and how travel is charged. Where travel is charged it must appear in the booking total, not be requested separately on the day.
Arrive in time to set up for the agreed start. Where the venue restricts access, load-in windows, noise or finish times, you must work within them.
8. Licences, insurance and compliance
You must hold the licences, permissions, registrations and insurance that your category and your work require, keep them current, and give us evidence when we ask.
Public liability insurance is expected for work delivered in person. Categories involving food, alcohol, children, vulnerable adults, pyrotechnics, animals, working at height, or regulated professional advice carry further requirements set out in our Verification and Credentials policy.
Letting a required licence, registration or policy lapse means you must stop taking bookings that depend on it and tell us. Providing false or expired evidence is a serious breach.
9. Accepting and delivering bookings
When you accept a booking you enter into a contract with the customer. Deliver what was agreed, on the agreed date, to a reasonable professional standard.
Keep communication in Artistover Messages so there is a record. Confirm arrangements, arrival times and access in writing rather than by memory.
If anything threatens delivery, tell the customer and us as early as you can. Do not simply fail to arrive.
10. Cancelling a booking you have accepted
A provider cancellation means the customer receives a full refund of everything they have paid for that booking.
Cancelling accepted work damages customers and the marketplace. Repeated cancellations, late cancellations, or cancelling to take a better paid booking may lead to reduced visibility, removal of the listing, withholding of payouts pending resolution, or account closure.
Where genuinely serious circumstances outside your control prevent delivery, our Cancellations, Refunds and Rescheduling policy explains how that is handled.
11. Fees and payouts
Artistover charges a platform fee of 15% of the booking total on service and venue bookings. The fee is inclusive of payment-processing costs: we do not pass card processing charges on to you separately.
Payouts run weekly. Money for a completed booking is released after the booking has been delivered and the 72 hour review window has passed without a dispute being raised.
You are responsible for your own taxes. Our Fees and Pricing document and our Payments and Payouts document set out the full commercial terms, including chargebacks, reserves and negative balances.
12. Keeping work on Artistover
If a customer finds you through Artistover, the booking belongs on Artistover. Do not steer an enquiry off the platform to avoid the fee, do not share bank details or payment links in Messages, and do not offer a discount for paying directly.
Off-platform payment removes the booking record, the payment protection and the dispute process for both sides. It is a breach of these terms and may lead to removal.
This does not stop you working with a client you already had before Artistover, or taking work that genuinely did not come through the platform.
13. Restriction, suspension and removal
We may restrict visibility, pause bookings, hide or remove a listing, hold a payout, or close an account where there is a breach of these terms or a policy, a safety concern, a pattern of complaints, suspected fraud, or a failure to complete verification.
Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will explain what has happened and you can appeal. Bookings already confirmed remain your responsibility to deliver unless we tell you otherwise.
14. Ending your listing
You can unpublish a listing at any time. Unpublishing takes it off the marketplace and pauses new bookings, and it does not cancel bookings you have already accepted.
A listing cannot be archived or deleted while it has active bookings. Complete or properly cancel them first.
