Fees, Taxes and Total Price
What Artistover charges, what the customer pays, and what the provider receives, with nothing hidden between them.
Version 2.0 · Effective 28 July 2026
The official legal document is provided in English.
Artistover is operated by Artistover Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17285593, whose registered office is at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom.
This document sets out the fees that apply to bookings and tickets on Artistover, and how the total price is built and disclosed.
1. What Artistover charges
On service and venue bookings, Artistover charges providers a platform fee of 15% of the booking total.
On event tickets, Artistover charges organisers a platform fee of 5% of ticket revenue.
Both fees are inclusive of payment-processing costs. Artistover absorbs the card and payment charges rather than recovering them from you separately, so the percentage above is the whole of what we take.
2. What the customer pays
Artistover does not add a separate buyer service fee. The customer pays the price the provider set, plus any itemised extras the customer chose.
The full total, the payment schedule and the cancellation policy are shown before the customer confirms. There is no charge that appears only after confirmation.
3. How the total is built
A booking total is made up of the following, where they apply.
- The base price of the service or the venue hire, or the accepted package price.
- Menu selections, where the venue or provider offers catering.
- Add-ons and extras the customer selected.
- Additional hours beyond those included.
- Chargeable travel, within the radius and at the rate published on the listing.
- A service charge, where the provider applies one and has published the percentage and what it applies to.
- A refundable damage deposit, where the venue takes one. This is held and returned, and is not revenue.
Where a customer adds to a booking after confirmation, the same rules apply to the added amount, including any service charge.
4. What the provider receives
The provider receives the booking total less the 15% platform fee. Because the fee is inclusive of processing costs, no further deduction is made for card charges.
Refundable deposits are returned to the customer and never form part of a payout. Amounts refunded to a customer reduce the payout accordingly, and the platform fee on a refunded amount is returned with it.
5. Tax
Artistover Limited is not currently registered for VAT. Our fees are therefore charged without VAT, and no VAT is recoverable on them.
Providers are responsible for their own tax position, including whether they must register for VAT and whether their prices should include it. Prices you publish must reflect your own VAT status. Our Tax and Invoicing document explains this and the reporting obligations that apply to us.
6. Changing fees
We may change our fees. Where a change increases what a provider or an organiser pays, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email and in the platform before it takes effect.
A booking keeps the fee treatment recorded at its first successful payment. Deposits, balances and later agreed additions to that booking keep the same treatment even if they are collected after a fee change.
7. Discounts and reduced fees
Some providers hold a reduced platform fee through a programme, a promotion or a referral arrangement. Where a reduction applies, it is shown on the booking and applied at the first successful payment.
Reductions apply to the Artistover platform fee only. They do not apply to refunds, chargebacks, taxes or amounts owed to a third party.
