Complaints, Reporting and Content Removal
How to report a listing, a message or a user, what we do about it, and how to appeal a decision we have made.
Version 2.0 · Effective 28 July 2026
The official legal document is provided in English.
Artistover is operated by Artistover Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17285593, whose registered office is at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom.
This policy covers reporting something on Artistover, complaining about how we have handled something, and appealing a decision we have made about your account or your content.
1. How to report something
Use the report control on the listing, the event, the review or the message. Where there is no control, write to contact@artistover.com.
Tell us what you are reporting, where it is, what you believe is wrong with it, and anything that supports that. A report with specifics is acted on much faster than one without.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services first.
2. How quickly we respond
We acknowledge a report within one working day. Straightforward reports are usually decided within five working days.
Reports involving a risk to a person, a child, or an imminent event are prioritised and looked at the same day. Complex reports, and those needing evidence from both sides, take longer, and we will tell you if that is the case.
3. What we do while we investigate
Where there is a real risk, we act first and investigate afterwards. That can mean hiding a listing, pausing bookings, restricting an account or holding a payout.
Where the report is less serious, the content usually stays up while we look at it. We do not remove a listing simply because someone has complained about it.
4. Decisions
We may take no action, ask for a change, remove content, restrict a feature, reduce visibility, suspend an account, or close it permanently. What we do depends on the seriousness, the harm caused, whether it was deliberate, and the history of the account.
We tell the person who reported it what we decided, in general terms. We tell the person reported what was removed or restricted and why, unless telling them would put someone at risk or we are legally prevented from doing so.
5. Appealing
If we remove your content, restrict your listing or suspend your account, you can appeal by writing to contact@artistover.com within 30 days. Tell us what you think we got wrong and give us anything new.
An appeal is looked at by someone who did not make the original decision. We aim to decide within ten working days, and we will tell you the outcome and the reason.
Where an appeal succeeds we restore what was removed, and where a suspension was wrong we restore the account. Where a place in a programme or a listing position was lost, we restore it where that is still possible.
6. Complaining about Artistover
If you are unhappy with our service or with how we handled something, write to contact@artistover.com with the word complaint in the subject line. We acknowledge complaints within one working day and aim to give a full response within ten working days.
If we cannot resolve it, we will tell you that in writing and explain your options.
7. Disputes between users
A disagreement about a booking is handled under our Marketplace Booking Terms. Raise it with the other side first, then escalate to us if it cannot be resolved.
Our decision on money held on the platform is not a legal ruling on the contract between the two sides, and neither side loses any right they have in law.
8. Misusing the reporting process
Reports made in bad faith, in volume, or to damage a competitor are themselves a breach of our Acceptable Use policy and are acted on as such.
